Is this sad? Really, I want to know!

I have taken to calling Rex our dog by Amara's name. For example, "come on Amara, let's go to bed." That way I get to use and hear her name more. I am sure it will have some long lasting psychological effects on the dog (or Darryl) but for now, it keeps me sane.
