So, I announced last week that our file was off to Ethiopia. Well, it turns out that was a big, fat, unintentional lie. It actually went today. I was confused. We had to wait for some form to be notarized (which I thought was already done). The agency informed us today that they met with their lawyer this morning, who graciously notarized the stupid form and now it is off to Ethiopia (4 PM this afternoon).
This post is not a lie - just so you know.

Hey I just found your blog... what agency are you with? we are with CAFAC and are awaiting 2 children under 4 yrs.... our docs have been in Ethiopia for 10+ months now and we still wait..... and wait.....

Congratulations on your file heading to Ethiopia! That is wonderful! I was SO THRILLED when ours got there safe and sound. It's nice just knowing that it's where it's supposed to be, even if we have a very long wait ahead of us. We are less than two months ahead of you, so it will be fun to follow your journey as well.
